According to a couple of posts on his Twitter profile, the famed Japanese director has said that this particular Metal Gear game was going to have a somewhat different title. Kojima says that he wasn’t happy putting “Metal Gear2” into the name, and instead wanted something that was more in the style of Indiana Jones. In other words, he was more interested in dropping the first part of the name and would probably have called the sequel “Solid Snake....

The show’s pilot–which ran back on June 2–was, quite frankly, a snooze. Nothing happened. The first of two protagonists, Baltimore homicide Det. Jimmy McNulty (played by English actor Dominic West) was–stop me if you’ve heard this before–a brooding, divorced, loose cannon with no respect for authority. His superior was a company-man jerk. His partner was a fat black man. The pilot’s only innovation was that it simultaneously introduced members of a powerful black street gang....

The Rams are 8-0 in the NFC West and completed a late move for Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Fowler in a bid to ready themselves for a Super Bowl push. Jacksonville will reportedly receive a 2019 third-round draft pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick in the trade, which was completed less than 10 minutes before the NFL’s 16:00 ET trade deadline on Tuesday. Fowler was the number three overall pick in 2015, although he missed all of his first year when he suffered a knee injury during rookie camp....

Coach Jason Kirck, of Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden, Connecticut, sat out one game after Lyman Hall High School coach Tom Lipka called for more consequences for Kirck allowing his team to score 88 more points than Lipka’s. Sometimes though, the pressure of being Commander Shepard can seemingly get to the fictional character, making them want to step away from it all. With the aforementioned Reapers set on destroying all organic life, the insect-like Collectors stealing humans and harvesting their DNA, and a group of humans looking to prioritize human advancement over all else, there’s plenty of enemies for the player to deal with in Mass Effect, and it seems this all proves too much for one Commander Shepard....

Ramattra is an Omnic tank hero who represents the game’s first “tempo tank” due to his ability to switch between different forms and access different abilities depending on which form he takes. In his Omnic Form, Ramattra wields a nanite-firing Void Accelerator staff, a weapon with no damage falloff at range which also provides him the ability to cast strong barriers onto the map similarly to how Sigma can. In his larger, more intimidating Nemesis Form, Ramattra instead uses only his fists to both block incoming damage as well as dish out concussive punches which create shock waves in the air....

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD has been a long time coming. After it launched in 2012 on the Wii, Nintendo kind of forgot about the game. Skyward Sword is a motion-based game, which meant that bringing it to other platforms, even the Wii U, was tricky.
