Over on Reddit, AP1144 put together a very creative Call of Duty: Modern Warfare video using a sketch comedy segment from Key & Peele to highlight the best and worst guns in the game. The sketch in used for the video shows Jordan Peele portraying former US President Barack Obama as he’s being introduced to a receiving line of people there to meet him. His reactions change based on the race of the person he’s meeting, which forms the basis of the idea. Based on Peele’s reactions in the video is what dictates which weapons AP1144 highlights as being good or bad.

Obviously, there’s likely to be some debate to this list based on player experience. However, according to the video from AP1144, the popularity list currently goes like this:
Good weapons:
KAR98k 725 Shotgun Kilo 141 AUG MP5 MP7 M4A1
Lesser Weapons:
Draganov FAL SA87 Origin 12 M19 Uzi PP19
Interestingly enough, the video doesn’t include the new season pass weapons RAM-7 and Holger-26, but based on community reaction, it’s likely that the RAM would fall into the good tier, while the Holger would likely be placed into the least popular section of the list.
One recently added weapon likely won’t appear on either of these tier lists. Update 1.12 also added some Christmas flair into the military shooter by adding a new Gunfight variation mode and a holiday themed Winter Docks map. Unlike other Gunfight modes, this new variation requires players collect snowballs from various piles of snow to use as weapons against each other. For this game mode, the snowballs essentially become as deadly as throwing knives. Keep in mind that this special mode is only here for a limited time and is scheduled to rotate out next week after the holiday season comes to a close.
