There are a number of different strategies to win a match in Warzone, from an aggressive run-and-gun style, to camping, to cracking the code to Bunker 11 and arming to the teeth. That’s what keeps players coming back to Warzone and dropping in for another round.

In a clip posted to Reddit, a player encounters a wall of Riot Shield users and is quickly swarmed by the squad; having walked right into their trap. The Riot Shield offers nearly full-body protection, with the large shield covering all but the feet of a player from being targeted. There are certainly strategies to counter this, but in a close-quarters fight and with multiple enemy team members sporting the bulky shield, the unlucky player had little in the way of options to fight back. The player can’t help but laugh at their fate.
Call of Duty: Warzone is often an intense experience, stakes are high and the action is fast-paced, which is why moments of humor found along the way help to lighten the mood. Case in point, the player killed by the unluckiest supply drop to ever grace the game. With players finding new strategies, and developer Infinity Ward continually tweaking the formula, there is always something new going on in Warzone. A number of small hints have appeared around the map that has raised a few eyebrows about the possibility of a catastrophic event befalling Verdansk, the battle royale hub.
While rumors fly surrounding the mysterious Bunker 11 and a potential nuclear event, Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is fast approaching. Each new season brings a host of changes to the mainline game, as well as the hugely popular Warzone.
The Riot Shield clip reminds players that every time they log in, they could encounter something new or equally as silly at some point.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
