Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 also come with changes to the tools available to players, as gamers have access to some new pieces of equipment to turn the tide of battle. Activision introduced some new field upgrades to Call of Duty this year, with Battle Rage, DDOS, and an Inflatable Decoy being some of the additions. As the name suggests, the Inflatable Decoy can be used to create distractions and diversions, but one fan thought of a clever way of using this field upgrade.

As reported by Dexerto, a Reddit user named M_RiGGz shared a clip featuring a unique way to use decoys in a match of Call of Duty: Warzone 2. In the video, the player M_RiGGz enters a building and seemingly comes across a decoy crouched in the corner of one of the rooms, which later turns out to be an actual player pretending to be an Inflatable Decoy to hopefully trick opponents. However, M_RiGGz is not so easily fooled, as they kill the opponent before quickly storming out of the building. Some fans will also notice that the other user turns slightly right before getting killed, which may have given away their trick.

In the post’s title, M_RiGGz mentions that these decoys are getting out of control, and many users claim that the other player fooled them as well. One fan thinks that they probably could have tricked M_RiGGz if they didn’t move, while another compares it to how mannequins turn their heads in horror movies. It looks like most gamers commend the creativity on display and making clever use of the Inflatable Decoy field upgrade in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

Fans should note that both Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are currently in Season 1 Reloaded, which supposedly ends on January 31, 2023. Activision has not revealed official details on the content coming in Season 2, but there have been a few leaks that may provide further information. As an example, a recent leak states that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 could get Plunder and Cranked game modes in Season 2, but gamers should take every rumor with a grain of salt.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
