In the mission to hunt for the Krubis bounty, a specific directive requires the player to find a way around the river. High on Life is covered in bodies of water that harm the bounty hunter if they touch it. Fall into one, and the game will mercifully–if not frustratingly–cut to black before quickly placing the player back on the spot of land they were on before they fell. The specific directive in question here can be confusing due to some misleading directions from the Bounty suit’s navigation system. The answer for where to go is more obvious than it may appear.

Where To Go

Facing the village chief, head left and back around towards the area’s entrance. There’s a warp base that’s sitting directly in the river. Jump to it, and look to the top left. There’s a green bulbous that can be shot to help with platforming from here. Navigate this brief platforming puzzle until coming to a small cave that leads out into–of course–another major section of the river.

On top of that, the player is also forced to be accompanied by an insufferable NPC who will talk for as long as it takes for this platforming puzzle to be completed. Fortunately, this area is relatively straightforward so long as the bounty hunter is looking for the right placement for the Glob Shot. Use the platforms marked with green to catapult across the river bed. The launch will place the player on an island roughly in the center of the river.

Use the red mushroom to bounce the Glob Shot into the back of the bridge to bring it down. Then jump to the other side. The last step will be to latch onto the ziplines that will lead to the end of this sequence. Just make sure to watch out for where the zipline is going because one of them stops just short of the next platform and will knock the player directly into the river.

Once all of this is done, congratulations. Krubis is shaking in his boots and the player is well on their way to another bounty.

High on Life is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
