The Rams are 8-0 in the NFC West and completed a late move for Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Fowler in a bid to ready themselves for a Super Bowl push.
Jacksonville will reportedly receive a 2019 third-round draft pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick in the trade, which was completed less than 10 minutes before the NFL’s 16:00 ET trade deadline on Tuesday.
Fowler was the number three overall pick in 2015, although he missed all of his first year when he suffered a knee injury during rookie camp.
The 24-year-old bounced back to tally 14 career sacks, 14 tackles for loss and 22 quarterback hits in two-and-a-half seasons with the Jaguars.
